What is Mentoring About?

Mentoring is the key that facilitates personal change and development. It also provides a myriad of life skills and opportunities. Furthermore, it underpins the development of a personal value system as a critical enabling factor for psychological, emotional, spiritual, personal and social growth.
What most people need is a greater sense of self-awareness. Self-awareness is the capacity for introspection and the ability to recognize oneself as an individual separate from the community and other people. Self-awareness is not to be confused with consciousness.

Consciousness is being aware of your environment, body and lifestyle; whereas self-awareness is the recognition of that awareness. Self-awareness is how you consciously knows and understands your own character, feelings, motives, and desires.

Application of Mentoring

Mentors rely upon having had similar experiences to gain an empathy with the mentee and an understanding of their issues
It all starts with a relationship between two individuals where one has greater experience and expertise than the other and offers the informal transmission of knowledge, life-skills, psychosocial support, advice and guidance as the other goes through mentoring process.

Program Framework

Finding and loving oneself isn't hard, when you understand who and what 'yourself' is. It has nothing to do with the shape of your face, the size of your eyes, the length of your hair or the quality of your clothes. It's so beyond all of those things and it's what gives life to everything about you.
Towards achieving this, various solutions were developed to identify challenges related to problems all people faces spiritually, meantally and physically and find ways to address them.
