Steering Committees

INTBU is presented in communities by smaller groups called Steering Committees.
The Steering Committee encourages people in the community to work together to tackle social problems and improve the quality of life for all people living in the community.

They aim to achieve the following objectives:

  1. Provide - the community with meaningful humanitarian services; and
  2. Assist - in the accelerating of community development and economic growth through helping, leading, planning, supporting, educating and training.

The Steering Committee directs and supervises the Community Development Projects within the community.

Community Support Account (CSA)

The Community Support Account (CSA) is a unique community benefit and the heart of INTBU within the community.

INTBU makes money from the promotion and selling of goods and services to its members who receive discounts in the form of cash-back rewards up to 95% from participating partners. Members contribute 15% from their cash-back to the Community Support Account (CSA). The Steering Committee use the money in the CSA to achieve the above objectives.

These allocations are declared annually at the end of the financial year.
